Björk and Berries

Botanica Lumen

A visible scent, a crafted memory.

Brief

Rooted in the deep forests of northern Sweden, Björk and Berries draws on centuries-old natural wisdom to create modern sensorial rituals. Our philosophy is to respect nature not only in our formulas, but in every interaction with our consumers. We believe that true luxury lies in simplicity, authenticity, and a return to the wild.
To deepen our connection with our community through an immersive, tactile experience that celebrates the natural ingredients behind our iconic scents. The event will offer participants a chance to interact with nature and scent in a meaningful, creative way—bringing the invisible into the visible.

Insight

More and more people are seeking out natural perfumes—drawn to their quiet purity, their connection to nature, and their gentle presence on the skin. But as more brands embrace similar values of sustainability and botanical ingredients, natural” is beginning to feel… expected.

In a world where clean, plant-based beauty is increasingly common, the question becomes more subtle, more human:
How can we take the idea of “natural” beyond the surface—beyond just ingredients—and carry it deeper into the hearts and memories of those who wear it?

Workshop Concpet Moodboard

A Botanical Experiment

Idea

To deepen the connection between scent and memory, we will regularly host botanical cyanotype workshops in-store—inviting customers to turn the invisible into the visible through sunlight, plants, and their own hands.

With the purchase of a fragrance, customers are welcome to join a guided cyanotype session, where they select botanical ingredients found in their chosen scent—such as neroli leaves, orris root, or cedarwood—and create a personalized sun print. The final piece can be kept as a poster or folded into a handcrafted zine, a delicate archive of scent and nature to take home.

Cyanotype Workshop Journey

1

Inspired by the perfume’s ingredient list, customers are invited to choose corresponding botanicals and create their own cyanotype artworks — arranging each element freely to design a pattern that is uniquely theirs.

2

The cyanotype prints are placed under sunlight for around 20 minutes. During this quiet interval, customers are invited to observe as the coated paper slowly shifts in colour — a delicate transformation guided by both nature and science, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind piece.

3

After 20 minutes under the sun, the botanical elements are carefully lifted away. As the paper is rinsed in water, the chemistry completes its quiet work — and the signature blue gradually blooms into view, unveiling a piece shaped by both nature and light.

4

After emerging from the water, the print is carefully hung to dry — suspended in stillness as light and air breathe the final tones into being.

5

Following an immersive one-hour workshop, customers take home a cyanotype artwork — a tactile, handcrafted piece that captures both the botanical identity of their fragrance and a moment of stillness.

This hands-on process reflects the brand’s core philosophy:
a deep respect for nature, slow creation, and the beauty of crafting by hand.
Just as each fragrance is carefully composed from sustainably sourced botanicals, the cyanotype ritual offers a moment of pause—of observing, touching, and making—honoring the intimacy between humans and plants.More than a workshop, this is a quiet celebration of nature’s presence in our everyday lives—a scent you can see, a memory you can make.
